SUCHITRA KONERU, MD - FAMILY MEDICINE
Dr. Suchitra Koneru has been a member of the Buffalo community since the age of five-years old, attending Kindergarten through medical school here in Western New York.
She is an alumna of Canisius College and SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine.
Dr. Koneru pursued her residency at the University of Maryland in the Family Medicine department. After graduating from the residency program in 2000,
she began working in Northern Virginia. In 2004, she returned back to her roots in Buffalo and has worked here since.
Dr. Koneru is married with three kids who are in high school, college, and the workforce. With twenty-two years of experience, she prioritizes care that involves patient engagement and working together to achieve health care goals. In her free time, Dr. Koneru enjoys spending time with her family and supporting the Buffalo Bills, who she has been a loyal fan of since the 1980s.
